Friday, November 12th, was a day of recognition and celebration. Third, fourth, and fifth grade students were recognized for meeting their AR goals for the 2nd six weeks. The students’ names were placed in a drawing to win the AR prize. A girl and boy from each grade level was chosen to receive “The Sky’s The Limit” pointer. All the student names will be in the end of the year drawing for special AR prizes. The grand prizes will be the use of an Acer and iPod Touch for the next school year.

Accelerated Reader is a computer software program called Renaissance Place. This program has a special feature called Renaissance Home Connect. Renaissance Home Connect is a fun, easy-to-use, easy-to-understand web-based interface that allows your student, you, and the teacher to share in the educational experience by viewing progress in certain Renaissance Place programs while outside of school.
