We are fortunate at White Oak to have school board members who are actively involved in both the school and the community. They attend most school functions, are present at faculty inservice meetings, support the initiatives of the staff, and can be called upon for any reason at just about any time.  So why am I “Calling all School Board members?”

Our White Oak Elementary blog has been reaching out into this community for about three months now and our subscriptions have grown to larger numbers than we ever anticipated. For that, we thank you, White Oak parents. However, we do not have a single school board member subscribed as yet.

My challenge to you is just this….if you see a school board member, please encourage them to go to www.woelem.wonecks.net and enter their email address to receive emails of the postings from this blog. It is an invaluable source of information showing how our school dollars are being spent and the level of technology that our students and teachers are using on a daily basis. Browse the pages across the top to find any Primary Teacher’s blog or Intermediate Teacher’s blog. I subscribe to them ALL, and you should too because it’s your school.
