Fun Run Training

Parents, the elementary students have begun training for the PA2CO (Professional Athletes Against Childhood Obesity) Fun Run scheduled for April 20th. That means they will be going to the track three times a week (weather permitting) to increase their endurance through jogging and walking. It is vital that students wear appropriate shoes on the days they will be going to the track. If those shoes have ties, please spend time with your child and teach them to tie their shoes. Untied shoes can end up causing very painful falls.
Christmas Parties
5K Love Run
Today was AMAZING! The community of White Oak showed up in great numbers to show their support for our teachers at White Oak School who are battling breast cancer. From students, to parents, to teachers, to businesses, everyone made a difference. A huge thanks to Rhonda Bybel and Mary Underwood for making their vision a reality.
Teachers Encouraged by Humor and Relationship Building
White Oak Elementary teachers look forward to the beginning of a new school year where they can re-connect with their co-workers. This year, Tammy Whitehurst was invited to inspire and encourage with her words of wit and wisdom. It was another great day of getting prepared to do the same for our students: Inspire and Encourage! We are looking forward to another GREAT year!
