Box Top Winners Ride in Parade

The Top Box Top Winners from both primary and intermediate were chosen to ride in the White Oak Christmas Parade. This fund raiser is always a huge success and has netted thousands of dollars for our elementary campus. There is another contest going on right now and the winners will be chosen randomly on December 19th.  Students are asked to write their first and last name together with their classroom teacher’s name either on the box top or on the baggy or paper containing the box tops. There will be one boy and one girl randomly chosen from the submitted box tops from BOTH the Primary and Intermediate campuses.  So get those Box Tops turned it NOW!

 

WOEF Awards Grants to Teachers

The White Oak Education Foundation awarded teacher grants in the gymnasium Tuesday morning. Several teachers were chosen, but the grant that received the greatest response was the $25,000 Playground Grant submitted by Coach Mary Underwood.

Also receiving grants on the elementary campuses were:

Everyone Loves a Parade!

The Christmas Parade in White Oak will be this Thursday, November 29th. The parade begins at 6:00 p.m. with the Christmas Tree Lighting immediately following at the White Oak City Hall, 906 S. White Oak Road. Entertainment and Refreshments will be provided, and Santa will be there for the kids!
