Parents, mark your calendars.  Students will have early release days on both Thursday, May 30th, and Friday, May 31st. Primary will dismiss at 11:00 a.m. and Intermediate will dismiss at 11:30.  The boys and girls are really getting excited!

Students and Staff will be out of school on Monday, May 27th, in honor of Memorial Day. Memorial Day is a federal holiday that began shortly after the Civil War. It is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation’s service. Freedom does not come freely, and we will always be thankful to those brave men and women who have given their lives so that we can have this privilege.

The White Oak ISD school calender has been board approved and is posted on the district’s website. You can also click on the image above for a larger view or click on the widget in our sidebar to print it out for future reference.  We hope that all of you enjoy your upcoming summer vacation, and we can’t wait to see you again in August.

A meeting for the parents of incoming 6th grade students is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14th, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the White Oak Middle School Library. Please plan to attend if you have a current 5th grader.
