We would like to encourage all students to participate in the Fun Run for the Professional Athletes Against Childhood Obesity. This year the event will take place on Saturday, April 20th at the White Oak Stadium. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. and the run will begin approximately at 10:00 a.m.
Students will run from the Nature Center Pavilion, down Stadium Drive to the White Oak Track and run one lap. Kindergarten students will lead the pack. Each student will receive a wristband which will record the name of the adult who will be picking them up from the Fun Run. The race will last approximately 30 minutes. Students will then be returned to their parents.
Autographs from athletes on hand will immediately follow the race!
Because it is imperative that we get a definite count on the number of students in order to have adequate provisions for the race, we need parents to return their Fun Run Registration to Coach Mary Underwood, White Oak Intermediate.
