The 2011-12 White Oak Roughneck Football team will be raising money for the victims of the fires in White Oak. We had families who lost everything except the clothes on their backs.  We would like to ask all elementary students to be involved.  The team will deliver buckets to each class on Tuesday, September 13th. Each class will decorate their bucket, and collect as much money as they can in their bucket throughout the week.  At the end of the day on Friday, all money will be counted, bagged, and labeled with the class name.  Class representatives will bring the buckets to the game and collect money on both side of the stands until halftime when the money will be turned into Coach Stanford’s office.

The winner will be announced at school the following Tuesday. On Friday the winning class will receive a pizza party and be announced on the football field at the next home game. Those students will also run through the Roughneck tunnel following the team out onto the football field.
