Monster Truck Fall Nationals at Lonestar Speedway – coming September 21st! This is the major fundraiser for the White Oak Education Foundation. Fifth Grade Parent Orientation

The fifth grade teaching team will host a Fifth Grade Parent Orientation on Tuesday afternoon, September 10th, from 5:00-6:00. This informative meeting will take place in the White Oak Elementary cafeteria. Please mark your calendars and make plans to join us.
PreK – 2nd Grade Parent Orientation

White Oak Primary will host a Parent Orientation for parents of students in PreK, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades. The meeting will take place on September 9th, Monday afternoon, from 5:30-6:30 in the elementary cafeteria. We hope that all parents will plan to attend.
White Oak Education Foundation Grants
The White Oak Education Foundation grant applications are available online at www.woef.wonecks.net. The WOEF is dedicated to provide funding for student, teacher, and school programs, projects, and initiatives that are not provided through district funding. They have been responsible for over $430,000.00 of funding since 2002.
The deadline for grant applications is Friday, October 12, 2013. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE. Get your grant application in NOW. Grants will be awarded November 18-22, 2013.
