Tomorrow, November 8th, will be picture retake day for those students and faculty who did not get their pictures made on the first picture day.

To all faculty, Mr. Gilbert has requested that everyone get their picture made.

Because last week was so packed with exciting events such as Homecoming and the 5K Fun Run, we have decided to give students one more Bonus Week to sell that Cookie Dough. Intermediate students will be out asking you to purchase cookie dough, soup mixes, totes, etc. for one more week.

Students, this gives you another 7 days to win some fantastic prizes including a ride in a Hummer limo for lunch, tickets, or even an iPad. The proceeds from this fundraiser will go right back into the classrooms, so let’s give our students the resources they need and at the same time get a good product.

Tonight at Smashburger in Longview from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. a percent of the total sales will go to White Oak ISD. These funds will be used to expand the White Oak Nature Center located just north of our elementary campus. Visit tonight and support our efforts to further develop this outdoor learning environment all while having a delicious burger.

3rd/4th Little Dribblers

We will not be conducting Little Dribblers for 3rd & 4th Graders this year.   For anyone looking for an organized league for their 3rd/4th grade son, I would recommend the “Upward” basketball program which is offered through several local churches.  For more information, visit upward.org.   Ron Boyett, Varsity Basketball Coach

Today was AMAZING!  The community of White Oak showed up in great numbers to show their support for our teachers at White Oak School who are battling breast cancer.  From students, to parents, to teachers, to businesses, everyone made a difference.  A huge thanks to Rhonda Bybel and Mary Underwood for making their vision a reality.
