Primary Character Assembly

Primary will have a Character Assembly this Friday, February 22th.  The character trait of Kindness will be presented by Mrs. Wingo’s kindergarten students. The assembly will be held in the elementary school cafeteria and will begin at 8:00 a.m.  We hope to see you there!

School Holiday

There will be no school on Monday, February 18th, in observance of President’s Day.  We hope that each of you enjoy your holiday, and we will see you on Tuesday.

Primary Kicks Off Fundraiser

Primary will kick off their Annual Chocolate Bunny Sales on Tuesday, February 12th.  Students will bring home information packets on Tuesday. Let’s be supportive of our PreK-2nd graders as they raise funds for a worthy cause – Education.

TCEA Honors White Oak ISD Educators

This past week three White Oak ISD educators were honored in Austin by Texas Computer Education Association for their roles in the advancement of technology at White Oak. Mitzi Neely was named District Administrator of the Year, and Pam Cranford was named Instructional Technology Specialist of the Year. White Oak Superintendent Mike Gilbert was recognized as one of the state’s top three finalists for Superintendent of the Year. White Oak ISD has moved to the forefront in the development and integration of technology under the 6-year leadership of Mr. Gilbert and continues to be an innovative leader in education in the State of Texas.

White Oak Pink Out!

White Oak Elementary will have a PINK OUT on Valentine’s Day, February 14th.  We will be selling pink ROUGHNECK FOR THE CURE bracelets for $2 in support of our teachers affected by breast cancer. We encourage everyone to WEAR PINK on Thursday to show your support in finding a cure.
