A meeting for the parents of incoming 6th grade students is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14th, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the White Oak Middle School Library. Please plan to attend if you have a current 5th grader.

The ring ceremony to honor the 2013 Basketball State Championship will be held on Tuesday, May 28th, at 6:30 in the White Oak High School cafeteria.  Tickets will go on sale Thursday, May 16th,  for $12.00 each and can be purchased in the White Oak High School office, Administration Building, or the Intermediate office.  The event will be catered by Texas Roadhouse.  For further information or tickets, please contact Katie Gale, Tori Arrington, or Lisa Pullen.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. We would like to take advantage of this special week to acknowledge the passion and dedication of our White Oak staff. There is no occupation more noble than that of a teacher for without teachers no other occupations would exist. Thank you for giving your life to this calling.

Congratulations to Collin McMullen and Tyler Keel who just yesterday won the 2-A Boys Doubles Tennis State Championship. To Mrs. Cloud, our own SOI teacher and tennis coach, we also extend a huge Congratulations!  We have so much to be thankful for here at White Oak ISD.
