A Call for Pictures

2010-11-01_2011

This past Friday, the intermediate school hosted a Talent Show featuring our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students.  Several people in attendance took pictures.  We would like to feature our talented students on the front bulletin board as you enter the school building, but we need your help.

If you have pictures of any students who performed last Friday, please email them to me as an attachment at [email protected]

We will print them out and use some of them to showcase our STARS.

Thank you.

It is already nearing the end of the second six weeks period, and some students have been using their time wisely. One of those students is in Mrs. Blankenship’s homeroom.  Korbyn is the first 50 point AR Reader in this third grade class. Congratulations go out to her for a job well done.

Last Day of Red Ribbon Week

sk

Friday is the last day of Red Ribbon Week, and the students have really enjoyed the activities.  We are asking students to wear a costume letting others know that Drugs Don’t Scare Us. Remember that costumes must still follow guidelines. No masks, handheld props, or makeup.  We are going to be in for a fun day!

Wear a Hat or Cap

kids_with_hats_clip_art_25301It’s Thursday of Red Ribbon Week already! Today students are asked to wear a hat or cap to show their commitment to be 100% Drug-Free.  Most of the White Oak students have actively participated in each of the Red Ribbon activities this week. Thank you also to all of the parents for making it possible to get this message out to our children.

Hats off to all of you!
