White Oak HS Marching Band

The White Oak High School Marching Band traveled to the UIL State Marching Competition on November 7, 2011, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.  Our intermediate students enjoyed enjoyed watching as our band students showed them what hard work and dedication looks like at a state-level competition.  Good luck to our band and its director, Jason Steele.  You were GREAT!

Cookie Dough – 3 MORE DAYS!

Students, you have only 3 more days to get as many cookie dough sales as you can. On Thursday, you will need to bring your TWO completed order forms (one for the cookie dough and the other for the Chick-fila cards) together with your payment envelope.

BE SURE TO HAVE MOM OR DAD DOUBLE CHECK TO MAKE SURE THAT THE ORDER TOTAL EQUALS THE MONEY TOTAL. 

All orders are pre-paid.

White Oak Education Foundation Grants

Today was a special day for all of the students at White Oak ISD. The White Oak Education Foundation visited each campus and awarded grants to our teachers and campus sites.  The WOEF granted a total of $40,423.64 to our educators district-wide, and we appreciate the work they do for this community. Below is a list of grant recipients for the elementary school:

Students are out and selling Cookie Dough! If you are wanting to order tubs or pre-measured cookies and no one has been to you, just call Karen Drennan at the Intermediate Office 903.291.2101, and she will take your order.

Please be aware that November 10th is the last day to submit your order, so get your cookies ready for the oven.

White Oak Christmas Parade

Yes, we said “Christmas Parade!”

The White Oak Christmas Parade will take place on Monday, November 28th, beginning at 6:00 p.m.  The parade will start at White Oak City Hall and travel down White Oak Road and will end in the White Oak Elementary school parking lot.  If you would like to participate, you will need to contact Debbie Sadler for details.
