While it’s not a new “School” year, we do want to welcome back all of the students to the 2014 “New Year”. It is really great to see all of the boys and girls back in classes again. Faces were smiling and teeth were chattering as they entered this cold morning. We have lots of learning to accomplish in the next few months. The year 2014 is going to be a great one!
Cookie Dough Delivery TOMORROW
Intermediate students will have their Cookie Dough Delivery tomorrow, Thursday, December 12th. Students who have up to 4 items may take their delivery with them. Any student who has 5 or more must have a parent come to pick up their order. Orders will be stacked in the gym, and you will need to see Arthur when you come to pick up your order. Thank you again for your support.

Charter Bus Sign-Up for Friday Night

The White Oak Ex-Students Association will sponsor two charter buses to Allen for the Semi-Final Football Playoffs.
Buses will load in front of the High School and leave at 4:00 pm. The cost is $10 per person payable when you board the bus and anyone 14 years old or younger must be accompanied by an Adult. There will be a sign up sheet in the High School Office. The first 100 to sign up will have first chance to board.
EARLY DISMISSAL THIS FRIDAY!
The Roughneck State Semi-Finals Football game will be played at 7:30 pm in Allen, Texas. In an effort to make sure we have enough buses and the time to travel through Dallas, we will dismiss all campuses early on Friday, December 13, 2013 as listed below:
- Primary Campus Dismissal at 1:30 pm
- Intermediate, Middle School and High School at 2:00 pm
In addition, there will be a send off of the Football team at 2:30 pm on Friday. Students, Faculty and Community members are encouraged to line up along White Oak Road from the High School to Hwy 80 and show support for our team!
White Oak Education Foundation Awards Grants
The White Oak Education Foundation demonstrated their support for our faculty and students by awarding over $30,000 in grants on November 22nd. Teachers on all campuses were encouraged to write grants and submit to the WOEF. The WOEF then evaluated the applications and grants were awarded at each campus.
PRIMARY TEACHERS: $4,209
INTERMEDIATE TEACHERS: $7,355
MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHERS: $4,889
HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS: $1,656
SCHOOL SITE GRANTS: $12,152
