Kid’s reading program at White Oak Library

Summer 2014

The White Oak School/Community Library will host its 2014 summer reading club and story hour beginning June 11 and continuing through July 16.

This year’s theme is “Fizz, Boom, and Read”  Children ages 5-10 may register for the reading club beginning Monday, June 9 at 2:00 p.m.  The opening kick-off celebration will be held Wednesday, June 11 at 10:30 a.m. with a special Magic show with Todd McKinney Productions.  Special performances will be scheduled each week through July 9.  Admission is free!

OH MY OH MY!! IT’S TIME FOR CLASS PHOTOS

Monday, May 12th

$10 for 8 x 10 class photo and a free 5 x 7 class fun shot!  Must turn in order by Friday, May 16th

The Primary School Campus will have an early release on Tuesday, March 25th. All PreK through 2nd grades will dismiss at 11:00 a.m. The afternoon PreK class will meet together with the morning class. Teachers will use this afternoon to schedule parent conferences.

Parents, mark your calendars.

On Wednesday, February 26th, Primary and Intermediate students will have an early release date. This will be a training day for teachers. Training  classes will begin shortly after your children are dismissed. Because of the scheduled events, we are asking that parents NOT eat lunch with their child on the 26th. Please make note of the times below:

• Afternoon PreK will meet from 8-11 with the morning class
• Primary Early Release – 11:30
  
• Intermediate Early Release – 11:30
