Third grade parent orientation was a real success. We had more than half of our third grade parents in attendance to show their support. Parents were introduced to school personnel, and vital information pertaining to third grade was shared by each grade level teacher, counselor, and principal. Our guest speaker, Mitzi Neely, shared with the group the increased expectations for third grade and provided a visual presentation of the similarities and differences between second grade and third grade.
